What are the RIAT Support Center Grants?

With funding from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, the RIAT Support Center will allocate funds to researchers to restore the clinical trial literature one trial at a time. The main objective of this competition is to facilitate greater transparency in the clinical trial literature by correcting misreported trials or publishing completed trials that remain unpublished. Over the course 2018-2020, we will be holding multiple funding competitions.

There are 2 core categories of projects funded through RIAT. Projects applicable to either RIAT category are eligible:

  1. Misreported Trial Restorations: These projects apply to already published trials for which existing evidence indicates errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in published methods, findings, or conclusions.
  2. Unpublished Trial Restorations: These projects apply to trials that were carried out, completed, and remain unpublished.
